Tour De Suffolk Pedal for a purpose This is a new cycling event for a wide range of ages and cycling abilities. So whether you are new to cycling or you're an experienced cyclist there will be a route to suit you. Starting and finishing at Ipswich Rugby Club, Humber Doucy Lane, Ipswich, IP4 3PZ, the Tour De Suffolk has 3 scenic routes passing through villages and towns in picturesque Suffolk. Choose from 25/50/73 mile routes. You can find the route maps here. The Ipswich Wolsey Rotary Club are proudly supporting Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity's Blossom Appeal. This challenge offers a great opportunity to raise funds in support of Ipswich Hospitals Breast Care Centre to provide additional equipment that can transform the healthcare available to your friends and family, when they need it most. All cyclists will get: Sign posted routes/Marshall's Rest stops, free refreshments, drinks etc Pre-ride bicycle checks with on the spot repairs by Elmy Cycles, Ipswich Help if unable to finish Date: Sunday 12 May Time: 8am Distances: 25/50/73 miles - Route maps Entry Fee: £20 in advance, £25 on the day Age: Cyclists under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult You can book your place at the Tour De Suffolk by visiting their website. Blossom Appeal The Breast Care Centre at Ipswich Hospital fully opened to patients after the final two services moved into the brand new state-of-the-art unit in late January 2023. However, we are still three-hundred thousand pounds away from the fundraising target and we need our community’s support to reach it. Everyone can make a difference and every penny counts, so please continue to support us if you can. The centre will be officially opened later in the spring.
