About this trip (Various dates available)

This region was shaped by glaciers many thousands of years ago, and there are plenty of geological landmarks – striking limestone outcrops and unusual rock formations – to pique your interest as you walk. You will also see the famous Ribblehead Viaduct enroute, part of the scenic Settle to Carlisle railway line. This is an extremely tough event over hilly landscapes; at 24 miles it forms an enormous challenge for walkers.

Fundraising

We would love for your fundraising to support our Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity Fund which supports patients and staff when they need us most. Alternatively you can choose to fundraise for one of our current appeals: Cancer Wellbeing, Children’s Appeal, Staff Wellbeing or for the ward or department within our services closest to your heart. Price

Option 1 – Funded by Fundraising
Pay a registration fee of £80 when you sign up, then fundraise £590 by approx. 10 weeks before the departure date. 50% of your fundraising target will be used to fund your place on the trip and the remaining 50% will go to the Fund of your choice. Anything raised over the £590 target will go straight to your Fund of choice too!

Option 2 – Fully Funded by You
Pay a registration fee of £80 when you sign up, then pay £295 to Discover Adventure by approx. 8 weeks before the departure date. You can then set up a fundraising page for £295 or higher for the Fund of your choice!
