Join the Hospital Hero Hike and be a hero this spring!

You have 7 days 2 hours 53 mins 50 secs training time left!

Back by popular demand is the Hospital Hero Hike, an exciting challenge for individuals, teams and groups looking to have a rewarding and fun day out.

This picturesque route takes you on a countryside walk through Suffolk and Essex, passing beautiful historic locations and walking side-by-side with our amazing NHS staff.

With a twist for 2024, the 21* mile route will start at Ipswich Hospital and finish at Colchester Hospital.

Challenge yourself this spring and you will be taking care of your friends and family when they need you most.

Our Hospital Hero Hike will be supporting our Staff Wellbeing Appeal. You will be providing staff at your local hospitals and community sites with the extras that go above and beyond what the NHS can provide, but which can make a vital difference to their health and wellbeing. From providing mental health first aid training to ensuring one-to-one help is available for staff in crisis or green spaces for restful and healing breaks, as well as providing physical, emotional and financial wellbeing support.

We would love for you to fundraise for the Staff Wellbeing Appeal which supports staff when they need us most. Alternatively you can choose to fundraise for one of our current appeals: Cancer Wellbeing, Childrens Appeal or for the ward or department within our services closest to your heart.  Just let us know your preference when you sign up.

Tickets are just £20 per person or free for ESNEFT staff, ESNEFT students, ESNEFT volunteers and OCS Staff.
